The California / Southwest Chapter represents a vast base of design professionals that comprise the organization's membership. Our chapter, which includes the top design professionals of today, showcases the cutting edge trend-setters that create experiential consumer environments.

The California / Southwest Chapter, which has now absorbed Arizona, California, New Mexico, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah, has been an integral cog in the re-branding of the Retail Design Institute, formerly the Institute of Store Planners, by successfully developing and launching the new Retail Design Institute web site backed by a powerful Content Management System (CMS).

The chapter philosophy exudes a sense of style, trend-setting, and clean and cutting edge design. We are an organization whose members dictate the future of retail through the design of these visionary retail environments. The Retail Design Institute are the trend developers and setters, educators, coaches, creators, scriptwriters, and pit crew. We are Retail.
