A non-profit organization founded in 1961, the Retail Design Institute represents a diverse range of students and professionals dedicated to creating world class experiential consumer environments. We promote the advancement of our industry by developing educational, career building and networking opportunities. The Southern California Chapter currently incorporates the Southwest region (Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico) and Hawaii. Our membership includes Architects, Designers, Art Directors, Developers, Engineers, Store Planners, Strategists, Visual Merchandisers, Educators, Set Designers, Trade Partners, Retailers, Publishers and Students. President's Message

I have been associated with the ISP/RDI since 1986 and honored to be in a position to serve as President for the Southern California Chapter after the fine stewardship of James Farnell. I pledge to work tirelessly to improve on our Chapter’s present course as well as increase membership and local event experiences.  I hope for the chapter’s members to place their faith and trust in me to execute the direction of our chapter’s future.
