President's Message

June 2015

The abundance of rain ths spring has not dampened the energy and enthusiasm of the St Louis Chapter.

We are still boasting about our chapter treasurer and trade member being awarded the International Trade Member of the Year.    At a special awards dinner in MAY,  we celebrated Theresa Froidl's award, Jack Killoren's Life Membership status, the  members acheiving professional status and introduced new members .

We are happy that our former Chapter VP Jennifer Parker, RDI included us for her visit while back in town from Miami.  She remains a loyal member to our chapter and we are grateful for her participation from afar, by offering ideas, advice and sponsoring design students to attend our programs.

JUNE was the annual architectural walking tour. This year the charming and architecturally significant Central West End neighborhood was selected. A lovely evening to stroll the eclectic retail and residential streets, concluded at a new concept ice cream store.

We look forward to the summer time events. July 16th is a bbq, fun activities, prizes and a tour of workshop are on the agenda.

You are always welcome to our events.    Stay tuned for updates and event information. If you're not on our email distribution, please email us at so that we can add you!

If you haven't already connected with us on LinkedIn, please do so.  Local industry news and events will be posted. (Retail Design Institute, St. Louis)
