President's Message

October 2015

The harvest season is here. Autumn is just about to burst into its most beautiful outfit of the year. And so is the St. Louis Chapter.

We have premiere events for October and November, which were planned by a great team of our professionals and loyal trade members.  It is fitting, just as October ends the boards' first term, the November progam promises a great start of the next year.  Check out our calendar of events.

The recent International Board Meeting and The Collaborate 2015 in Dallas brought renewed appreciation for all of the Chapters and our International leadership.  We are proud to have a member serving as International Secretary and her commitment to the profession and RDI as a leader in our industry.

There were two new International communication vehicles introduced recently.  REVIEW, an e-publication highlighting retail design and designers.  The other is CHANNEL, an e-newsletter written by Institute members for Institute members.  St Louis was pleased to have an article in the first issue of CHANNEL (btw, it was named by a St. Louis member).

We are looking forward to getting the Chapter’s 2016 goals underway.  You are always welcome to attend our events, and we encourage your input and participation.

If you haven’t already connected with us on LinkedIn and Facebook, please do so.

Do you have an exciting project you’re working on? We’d love to hear about it.

Congratulations to the chapter and the board for its efforts and successes.
