Senior merchandising, planning , and management executive

Tom has been employed locally with The Bon Marche / Macys since 1972.
Originally in merchandising, store management, and regional store positions
for 20 years, Tom became VP of Capital Projects and Store Planning , a position
he held until May of 2008.

For the past 15 years, Tom has directed and managed the capital planning and store planning
functions and process for Macy's Northwest (now Macy's West), which has included many
new stores, store expansions, remodels, space reallocations/rebranding activity throughout
the Northwest. In his time within Department Store fashion retailing, he has been through
mergers, bankruptcies, acquisitions, and, most recently, consolidations.

Tom is a Michigan native, achieving a degree in Business from Michigan State University, and
an MBA in Marketing from the University of Oregon, although he has become an avid Husky fan.
Tom is very excited about possible new leadership opportunities within the retail and design industries,
as well as education and non-profit sectors.
