President's Message

Toronto is a fascinating and dynamic city with an incredible number of design and creative talent. Internationally recognizing this city as the hotspot for great design and great design talent alike, establishing a natural link and destination for the expansion of the Retail Design Institute. Since our inception we are amongst the fastest growing chapters, thus making us one of the most dynamic in the international scene. Our focus is to bring high profile venues and dynamic presentations to our members in a socially relaxed and inspiring setting, fostering insightful, educational and creative conversations. Through high profile venues the Toronto chapter has attracted top international Designers, Architects, Contractors and Educators. In our current global market conditions, uncertainty being the hot topic for all retailers and businesses alike, it is an important time to ensure that we continually involve in sharing our thoughts and expertise. As we look forward to a challenging but rather fascinating year, we do encourage all retail designers and related fields to make RDI an important part of their professional development.
