Mr. Hamori has enjoyed an extensive background in retail store design and construction market. He began his career with private design firms, specializing in retail design services. Subsequently, Mr. Hamori made a significant contribution to the Canadian retail landscape by providing creative design services and direction for such retail icons as The Bay, Zellers, Sears Canada, Eaton’s and Holt Renfrew.

Throughout his career in retail design, Mr. Hamori has worked closely with many high profile brands in the retail fashion and cosmetic industries. He has negotiated contractual agreements with such clients as Estee Lauder, Clinique, Shisheido, Biotherm, BCBG, NIKE, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M and many others.

Mr. Hamori has also held the position of Corporate Vice President of Sales, Design and Marketing, within the fixturethis Division of CDA Group of companies. Fixturethis is recognized as a North American manufacturer of Point-of-Purchase displays and store environments with manufacturing plants in both Canada and the United States.

Mr. Hamori currently holds the position of G.M. Store Planning, Construction and Design, for HBC the Hudson’s Bay Company and is responsible for the creative development and evolution of the 500 store brand line up inclusive of The Bay, Zellers, Home Outifitters and Designer Depot.

Mr. Hamori also affiliated and holds membership with the following organizations.
VM&SD – Visual Merchandizing and Store Design, Advisory board member of this leading industry publication focusing on the retail industry.
R.D.I. – Retail Design Institute, formerly known as the Institute of Store Planners.
Mr. Hamori serves as the President executive director for the Toronto chapter of RDI International.
A.R.E – Association Retail Environments, formerly known as NASFM. Mr. Hamori serves as an Executive member of the advisory board of this national provider for the retail industry.
