Ted Wilson has been with The Bay since 1999, in his current position as Manager of Design, Store Planning. Hbc is a division of Hudson's Bay Trading Company and Canada's largest diversified general merchandise retailer, operating The Bay -- a major department store, Zellers -- a mass merchandise format, and Home Outfitters -- a kitchen, bed and bath specialty store.

Responsibilities include the creative development to planning & design for all banners, including layout, construction details, fixture design & interior store environment.

Ted’s previous stints as an interior designer were with WATT-IDG, Shikatani Lacroix Design & eaton’s to name a few. He is an active member with the NCIDQ & ARIDO design affiliates, holds diplomas in Architecture and Creative Arts, and has been a charter member with the Toronto Chapter of RDI.

ENJOYS - Pinot Noir, gardening, adventurous travel and exploring retail (not necessarily in that order!)
CANNOT STAND - people always wearing black- try chocolate, a pattern or a seasonal colour!
CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT - The Sunday Morning paper, a fresh pot of coffee and CBC playing in the background.
