Stephen W. Schwartz AIA, Architect is a founding partner in SWS Architects in Livingston NJ. Stephen is a graduate of Washington University School of Architecture. He a past president of the Newark Suburban Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Architects. He is NCARB accredited and is licensed in 10 states on the East Coast. The firm has been in practice for 36 years and much of that time has been involved in retail store design projects as well as many other building types. The retail clients have included Fendi, T. Anthony, JR Cigars, and a broad range of mens, ladies, and other fashion stores. The firm has won many national design awards for their retail store designs and they have designed more stores at The Mall in Short Hills then any other architectural firm. Stephen has been a member of the ISP New York Chapter for at least 10 years and in that time has enjoyed serving as Program Co-Chairman along with many others who have assisted in creating many dynamic programs over these many years. The evolution of our programs seems to have grown into a "retail site location" based program where attendees can learn through an on site educational experience. This reinforces the idea that the ISP can accomplish as a group what no one individual can do on their own by obtaining access to unique retail and educational venues.
