With extensive experience in restaurant and retail design and a passion for creating branded environments that impact consumer behavior, Steve has become a nationally recognized industry leader. Steve worked in New York City with renowned designer David Rockwell. In 1996, he moved to Charlotte to start the restaurant and store design studio at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, growing it into a retail design powerhouse.
In 2007 Steve brought his retail branding, design and program management expertise to TobinDudleyStarr. His passion and strategic leadership have created many successful and award-winning environments for some of America’s most recognizable brands including Planet Hollywood, Bank of America, Krispy Kreme, Dean & Deluca, The Biltmore Estate, Plow & Hearth and Cosi.
Steve is active in Charlotte at Jewish Family Services, the Bernstein Leadership Group and serves on the Board of Advisors for the Charlotte Jewish Preschool. He holds architecture degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
