Linda MacLeod Fannon has been a professional member of the Retail Design Institute’s Boston Chapter since relocating back to the area ten years ago to assume the position of Sr. Manager of Store Design for Fleet Bank and, subsequently, Bank of America.   Prior to this position, she was a Store Planning Group Lead for Target Corporation overseeing Store Design and Planning Teams for Marshall Field’s, Mervyn’s and Target stores.  Linda’s entrée into the world of store design and planning began in the design of boutiques for high-end fashion.  She then developed the prototypes and oversaw the roll-out of Timberland stores, vendor shops and showrooms worldwide.  Today Linda leads a variety of branded environment projects at Elkus Manfredi Architects, who are well known for their retail work on large retail master planning projects, such as The Grove in Los Angeles, the design of Disney Stores, and locally for the iconic Neiman Marcus store at the Natick Collection.
