Membership Info

The Retail Design Institute members comprise: designers working for design practices and retailers, designers who are heads of firms, staff of in-house product manufacturers, trade representatives and students of design.

Memberships are individually held by architects and interior designers, design students and educators, store planners, lighting designers, graphic designers, visual merchandisers, brand strategists and trade suppliers to the retail industry.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
Being able to claim Professional , Associate or Student membership of the Retail Design Institute differentiates you and positions you as a serious participant in retail design. Membership supports your career, recognizes your status as a practicing or emerging professional, enhances your design credentials and tells clients that you are serious about the design of high quality, cost effective and financially viable retail environments.

Being part of a global organization provides the opportunity to connect with design professionals around the world, and share in the market intelligence of new projects and emerging design trends in other countries
Both Allied and Trade members support the Institute through membership dues and sponsorships and in return are able to make valuable personal contact on a regular basis with the designers who use and specify their products and services.

The Institute is committed to the education process in recognized design colleges as well as the ongoing professional development of its Professional and Associate members and so is keen to engage with the Educational sector for mutual benefits . In addition we welcome representatives of the Media as honorary members as a means of promoting the Institute.

New member dues for the following dues categories: Associate, Professional and Trade members are prorated by 50% for new members joining May 1 - July 31, 2013.
