California/Southwest Chapter - "grocery couture" event

A fabulous night was had by all at the "grocery couture" event hosted by St. John.
80 people (both students and professionals) enjoyed the cocktail style event to celebrate the winners of the Retail Design Institute 2008 Student Design Competition. The top five entries were on monitors through out the store for our guests to view. Simon Ho, 1st place winner and Natasha Palewicz 3rd place winner flew down especially for the night.
We were delighted to have the Art Institute students of Hollywood also involved. 5 extremely creative design students dressed 5 of the mannequins donated by St. John.
Each mannequin was decorated in a costume made from food. This really was the icing on the cake. If it wasn't for the mall hours our guest would probably be still there enjoying the night.
