In this presentation, Alex Ritchie explained how the best international design agencies utilise a service-led approach to retail design. This approach allows a retailer to connect to their customer on an emotional level, which converts buyers into brand advocates.

Alex is a respected brand designer who has worked across Europe, America and Australia for over 23 years.

Recent projects include a 4,500sqm experiential brand experience centre for Qantas, the flagship retail environment for Sony, Kodak’s future store in store retail environments, Singleton Ogilvy Mather’s new workplace environment and China Telecoms Pavilion at the 2010 World EXPO in Shanghai.

Living Edge showcased excellence in furniture design combining a mix of proven classics and future icons for the home and office. Each piece in the Living Edge range is carefully chosen for its style, function and history. The work of Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson sit alongside contemporary designs from Australians Norman and Quaine, Charles Wilson, Matt Sheargold, Jon Goulder and bernabeifreeman
