Most recently Brian has worked on projects for brands such as Kate Spade, Maracay Homes, Lucky Brand Jeans, BCBG, Prana and Comerica Banks.
Having traveled the globe identifying first-hand consumer traits & behaviours central to sales and retention strategies, Brian combines this invaluable information with more than 28-years experience in architecture, interior design, and specialty/chain store retailing to provide his clients with a unique combination of real-life expertise.
Brian has addressed more than 30,000 leaders in civic, hospitality, financial, leading retailers and brands on five continents. Brian has been a frequent speaker at key global events such as the NRF, EuroShop, GlobalShop and FENALCO in Colombia.
Author of Display Concepts and The Visual Merchandising Workbook & Planner, Brian has been interviewed as a key industry voice to a wide range of leading industry publications such as VM+SD, Golf Retailer, Platin, Outdoor Retailer, Day Spa. He has been interviewed by numerous global news organizations including Washington Post, Financial Times of London, Los Angeles Times, The Orange County Register, SCT, and The Virginian Pilot. Brian's expertise and insights were featured in the first-edition of the acclaimed Retail Business Kit for DummiesTM.
For the past four years Brian has served on the international board of the Retail Design Institute as International Secretary. Brian was a key member of getting the chapters in Toronto and Sao Paulo launched. At present he's working with the board to see chapters launch in Spain, China, UK and Turkey.
In January 2010 the Retail Design Institute recogized Brian's contributions to the institute by making him a "fellow" of the institute.
