What a wonderful way to embrace the holiday season with a walking retail tour with live music and entertainment, holiday windows and lights, and fireworks on Rodeo Drive! We had a fantastic time exploring how to infuse the beautiful sparkle of the holiday spirit into this iconic shopping destination. Thank you to everyone who came and help make the night so very memorable as our last event of the year. It's been an event-packed year for us at the Retail Design Institute Southwest + Pacific Chapter and it was great to end things off with a bang.

This will be an opportunity to celebrate 2024 years' achievements and make a toast to the new year and preview what we have in store. This will be a more intimate gathering, open to members and their guests only, as we will open the table to welcome event ideas from you all. Member Spotlight
Allison Wix, Southwest + Pacific
Communication + Graphic Design Chair
For this month's member spotlight, we would like to introduce the Retail Design Institute's own Allison Wix. Allison joined our board this year as the Communication + Graphic Design Chair and we sure are glad to have her positive and creative spirit to help inspire us!
Allison has been a member of the RDI Southwest and Pacific chapter for two years. She is very excited to become more involved by assisting with graphic design and social media needs in her role on the board. Allison holds a formal education in design and visual communication, specializing in visual merchandising, store design, and product design. She worked in the furniture industry for nine years, drawn to this field by the hands-on aspects of design.
The innovation and allure of creating unique experiences have motivated her to explore various areas within the industry. At the start of 2024, alongside continuing work in the furniture industry as a freelancer, she launched an art series and website allisonwix.com to showcase her art. This year, she has taken part in four group exhibitions and is planning a 2025 pop-up gallery series with a curator that will showcase new work.
