We walked. We talked. We made new connections!
Our first Walking Tour, Chapter ONE, found The Retail Design Institute Canada wandering the streets of Yorkville Village in downtown Toronto.
Attendees began the evening at Lumas Gallery for a post work happy hour and networking social time with Erin Lang, who shared her vision and story of this beautiful space. The guests then divided into three very competitive groups and were able to share stories and conversations as they followed the one-of-a-kind map provided by Architect Paul Backewich.
Some highlights along the way included; Versace, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Aesop, Dice, Delysees, Pusateri’s, and The Webster. Ending the tour at the Duke of York Pub, it was the perfect spot to continue networking and sharing stories on the patio.
We welcomed many new professionals who joined us, and we were especially happy to see many new-comers to Canada. The Retail Design Institute Canada continues to look forward to creating a platform and more events, where design and retail professionals can connect.
Thank you to our generous sponsors, Metropolitan Floors, Schluter Systems Canada & Light Visions for being part of this inaugural event.
