In the spirit of the Retail Design Institute’s mission to support and inspire retail design programs at colleges and universities, the New England Chapter hosted our second annual Student Design Showcase event in June 2022. Students from New England area design programs, represented by Endicott College, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Students presented retail projects via Zoom amongst peers and industry professionals; partnered with a panel of Institute Members to ask questions and engage in conversation with the students.
Thank you to our talented New England students Austin Evans and Veronica Audette from Endicott College, Cheyenne Amaral from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Jenna Eagan and Rachel D Bach from Wentworth Institute of Technology for presenting your retail store designs, and to our Institute Professionals Sara Grossman from Reflex Lighting, Chris Hartmann from Inspire Brands, and Amanda Johnson, NCIDQ from Gensler, for participating in our Student Design Showcase virtual event! We were so impressed by the student's creativity and thoughtful solutions and look forward to their bright futures in design.
