On the evening of Tuesday, November 14th, the Arcadis Office in The Woolworth Building was abuzz with creativity as the Retail Design Institute's New York Chapter hosted the 7th Annual Iron Design Student Challenge benefiting PAVE. From 5:30 to 8:30 PM, the 16th floor of 233 Broadway transformed into a dynamic space where students from NYC-based design schools showcased their talents in a surprise design challenge curated by American Eagle. IA Interior Architects, Studio 43D Architecture + Design, PLANiT, Leiden, SHOWBEST, LG Business Solutions, TDC, and TJ Hale, the event's sponsors, played a crucial role in making this evening possible. Their commitment to the industry's future leaders was evident as students, guided by mentors from design firms, brands, and retailers, tackled the challenge within a tight 2-hour window. A panel of industry experts later deliberated on the designs, adding an exciting element to the competition.
