August 21, 2022: Retail partnership marketing continues to reshape the retail landscape and the Retail Design Institute visited StorePoint Retail in greater Orlando to explore the topic via panel discussion. International Vice President Lindsay Henningfeld, RDI, moderated “Retail Partnership Marketing: Trends Driving the Brick & Mortar Experience,” with three participants representing retailer and the retail design consultant perspectives. They cited examples of retailers partnering and joining forces to create in-store shops, to working with direct-to-consumer, minority, and established brands to increase access and awareness. Panelists were Tom Ertler, senior vice president, creative director with Miller Zell, Adimika Owens, RDI, senior director of visual merchandising and design with Floor & Décor and Cynthia Hirsch Ortiz, RDI, International President.
