The Retail Design Institute NYC Chapter hosted an exclusive evening at Nespresso’s New York City Flagship in the Flatiron District, bringing together design industry professionals for a night of conversation, connection, and immersive retail experience.
Located at 85 5th Avenue, the 13,900-square-foot flagship is Nespresso’s eighth and largest global flagship and the first in North America to introduce the brand’s reimagined retail concept. Guests gathered in the lower-level Speakeasy, one of the flagship’s custom-curated spaces designed to elevate the coffee experience through thoughtful design, hospitality, and brand storytelling.
The evening featured insights from the Valerio design team, who shared the concept and process behind the flagship, along with perspective from Nespresso on the brand vision that shaped the space. The discussion gave attendees a closer look at the creative thinking, design strategy, and process behind bringing the flagship experience to life.
Guests also enjoyed a curated coffee experience, light fare, and time to connect with fellow leaders across retail design, architecture, construction, and brand experience. To make the evening even more memorable, registered attendees received a complimentary Nespresso Vertuo Pop machine to take home.
