In Memoriam: Biasina “Bess” Liscio, RDI, 1961-2026

The Retail Design Institute is deeply saddened to share the sudden and unexpected passing of Biasina “Bess” Liscio, a longtime member of our community.

Bess was a valued part of the Institute for many years and served as an Advisor to the Canada Chapter Board, where she gave her time, insight, and support to her fellow members. Her loss will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her and working alongside her.

She is survived by her mother, Filomena, her brother, Carmine (Julie), her nephew, Robert (Maria), her niece, Mikaela (Vincent), and her great-niece, Charlotte. She was predeceased by her father, Celestino.

On behalf of the entire Retail Design Institute, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Bess’s family, friends, and all who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Bess’s memory.
