The Retail Design Institute’s Texas Chapter is pleased to announce the re-election of its full board for the 2025–2027 term, continuing the leadership team that successfully guided the Chapter through its founding years. Beginning November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2027, this dynamic group will continue driving growth, collaboration, and engagement across the state’s expanding retail design community.

One of the Institute’s newest Chapters, the Texas Chapter has quickly established itself as a strong, active network of design professionals representing Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

President: Jeff Dunn, RDI, Director of Development, Construction, Focus Brands

A Professional Member since 2023, Jeff continues as Chapter President and was instrumental in launching the Texas Chapter.

“When Chad and I first got together to start the Texas City Center, our main goal was to grow membership so that we could become a full-fledged chapter. In the last two years, we achieved and exceeded that goal. I will be applying for Chapter Status this year. I am very proud of what our board has been able to accomplish and look forward to continuing to grow the chapter. In the next term, my goal is to grow and strengthen our membership in the other major cities in Texas, like Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. We have come a long way in the last two years, but we still have a long way to go, and I look forward to contributing to the growth,” said Dunn.

A Professional Member since 2023, Chadrick continues as Vice President, helping to expand programming and partnerships across Texas.

“As part of the RDI Texas City Center Chapter leadership team, the past two years have been an exciting and fast-paced journey. Together, we’ve built a strong foundation—growing our membership to the point where we’re now eligible to apply for official chapter status. This milestone is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of our team.

Looking ahead, I’m excited about the opportunity to deepen our impact. Over the next two years, I’d love to see us continue driving membership growth and engagement, expand our event footprint across diverse regions of Texas, onboard new sponsors who align with our mission and values, and forge meaningful partnerships with educational institutions across the state to inspire and support the next generation of retail design professionals. By working together and staying focused on collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, I believe we can elevate the chapter to new heights and create lasting value for our members and partners,” said Spencer.

Secretary: Cyndi Brezina, Trade RDI, Business Development, Proficient Engineering, Inc.

A Trade Member since 2011, Cyndi continues in her role as Chapter Secretary.

“As a business development professional, I've had the privilege of supporting the RDI Texas team's growth by engaging new members and strengthening our presence across the state. Serving alongside such a dedicated and talented team has made our success possible, and I am proud to have contributed to building that momentum. Looking ahead, my vision is to continue expanding our reach into more Texas cities while fostering connections that bring value to both current and future members. I would be honored to continue serving on the Board as Secretary, helping to drive the soon-to-be Chapter's growth and impact over the next two years,” said Brezina.

Treasurer: Leslie Killebrew, RDI, Project Manager, idGROUP

A Professional Member since 2022, Leslie continues as Treasurer, overseeing the Chapter’s financial management.

“I am honored to be nominated for re-election as Treasurer of the Texas Chapter. Over the past term, I’ve worked to ensure our finances are managed with accuracy, transparency, and accountability, supporting the chapter’s ability to grow and serve its members. I’m proud of the systems we’ve strengthened to keep our financial operations clear and consistent, even as we’ve taken on new initiatives. Looking ahead, my goal is to keep our finances strong while focusing resources on what matters most—member programs, events, and outreach. I’ll continue making reporting clear and communication open, so everyone feels confident about where we stand. I would be grateful for the chance to continue serving in this role and supporting the success of our chapter,” said Killebrew.

The Retail Design Institute congratulates the Texas Chapter Officers on their re-election and commends their continued commitment to growing one of the Institute’s newest and most energetic chapters.
